Here is a list of my last 7 emini sp 500 trades, using a 13pt stop/reverse system...

Trade 1: (+19pts) (+$950)

Trade 2: (-10pts) (-$500)

Trade 3: (-13pts) (-$650)

Trade 4: (+22pts) (+$1100)

Trade 5: (+8pts) (+$400)

Trade 6: (-11pts) (-$550)

Trade 7: Currently Long 1 June emini 1406.25, stop/reverse order now working at 1411.00

so the worse trade 7 can do is a profit of 5pts (+$250) and with each new high (above 1424), the stop/reverse order continues to rise......

the trade is currently ahead 16pts (+$800) as i type this but is not closed..

soon i will move to trading 2 of these...... if things continue well.....

using this system, it depends, the market will eventually take me out and reverse me.....

this trade started very early monday morning and is still going........

SSI, you need to look into using an online platform. I am going to trade the indices-mini of course- after I feel I can find a suitable trading plan. It seems many traders use real-time charts-paying at least $60/mth.
What are you paying for your esignal info?
I have an Interactive Brokers acct setup, and I am looking at $4/rt on these same trades...

Say your stop loss/reverse order kicks in at 1411. What is your new stop loss on this trade? Is it automatically 1411, or do you have to specify a new stop loss to keep the trade from going back long on you...i.e. 1416.

trade 7:

currently long from 1406.25,,,,,,, stop/reverse is at 1411.00........... market is currently at 1422.25 (right now).......... if 1411.00 is hit, ill be out of my long with a 5pt profit........ ill also reverse as i have a 2 lot sitting there....... my stop/reverse then would be 1424.00

it always trails 13pts behind the move.........

im bantering back and forth, the idea of always taking a 20pt profit.......

Bernanke speaks tomorrow, there should be no surpises........ that seems to be what the markets are factoring in.....

i do not "pay" for esignal at the moment......... ive got it free, thru my broker, that alone is worth around 100 per month.........

ive went over this before, i dont mind paying $25rt for the full service that i get........ so far this week, ive made 16pts ($800) and paid only 1 commission.......... of course, im still in the trade.....

trade 7 is guaranteed to make a minimum of 30pts........ thats at least $1500..... on one contract......

Falls, still in trade 7......... Long from 1406.25, stop/reverse now at 1438.00

profit guaranteed to be (+31.75pts).....

new high of move today, so we got to raise our stop/reverse order...

and i didnt get killed by a choppy market day,,,,,,, which is a huge pitfall with this sytem.....

fridays trading is now open....... currently 1444.50

stayed long over the weekend from 1406.25, market is currently at 1447.00

stop/reverse order is in and working at 1438.00

if we go above 1451.00, the stop/reverse order will rise, thus locking in, even more profits.......

if we hit 1438.00........ trade 7 will be over and we will be short from 1438.00 for trade 8 and would have banked 32pts (+$1600) worth of profit for trade 7.....

not sure who has the online simulated trading platform..........

i trade with redlands futures and options, who clear through RJ Obrien...

i would think you could do a search and find a good simulated trading program........

or go to a site called "commodity traders forum" and pose the question..

i would think Refco or TD Mann or even RJ would have an online trading platform........

you can keep up with it yourself with delayed quotes from the cbot...
